She completed her Master's in Marine Environment and Resources with her thesis titled "Image-Based Identification of Blue Sharks in the Mid-Atlantic: Evaluating a Standardized Methodology for Long-Term Monitoring". 

 
She carried out her research at Okeanos with the support of the EcoDivePMT Team this summer, becoming the first student of the MER+ program to conduct a master's thesis at Okeanos. Her study was the first attempt to test a visual photo-identification methodology on blue sharks (Prionace glauca). 

 
Future steps include strengthening the methodology, co-developing automated blue shark photo identification systems, and applying it to fisheries and MPA management.
